What a nice place. The wife and I were passing through the area on our return trip from Gettysburg pa to Indiana. Met a nice couple and drank beers on the patio during the 2017 solar eclipse. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner was excellent but maybe a little small on portion size for me. I'm a big eater. But still great taste. Room and shower were perfect. Will definitely stay again if in the area. Reminds the wife and I of French lick Indiana on a smaller scale. I can't imagine being disappointed in this place. Check it out and compare prices of standard hotel. Spend a few extra bucks. And enjoy the stay.
I can't say enough good things about this place! We accidentally left behind a much loved teddy bear after my family spent the night. The staff not only mailed the bear back to us, they sent us pictures they had taken of the bear in various spots around the hotel, enjoying his "stay" before he was sent home. Not that is really going above and beyond! It made our day when we got the teddy back with the pictures. Not only is the staff wonderful, but the hotel itself is charming and well appointed, and the restaurant is excellent. We spent the night because we were just passing through, but we will definitely be back!
A wonderful hotel we stumbled upon while looking for a place to stay en route to Florida. We will definitely make this a regular stop on future drives. The room was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bourbon french toast was amazing!!!! Highly redommended!
Great pricing on food and drinks good coffee... great very comfortable bed.... watch out for the 4am knock on your door though... little ghost woke me and the wife up
One of my favorite renovated old hotels. Odd place but worth a visit. Old timey. Better than expected restaurant and cozy bar. Live sane music too.
