I can go there and ride my bike, and find peace and serenity by just being there. They really have good events that I can attend. The park is a wonder place to go and spend time with family and friends
Not the best place I believe for children. Police sub station there however, my goodness there are a lot of strange cookies walking past, through and around the park.
Pretty good sized park with plenty of parking, monuments, picnic tables. With a decent sized fishable pond. It's a smart layout.
Wow were to start, the employees and the city try very hard to keep it nice and cleaned up. But they just can't combat the native parkersburg turds. The drugs and criminal activity runs rampant In the park, leave your car unlocked while you take your dog for a walk? Your gonna get stuff stolen. 20 years ago the place was nice and a place you could take your family for fun and picnics. Now it's a place to score a few painers and a dime bag.
