Excellent time. Friendly employees. Will be back!

Very nice and a family fun place to visit. Can also have a wedding there. Very beautiful in the fall. Does have flushable toliets and water stations as well as a gift shop. Can bring your own lunch for a picnic...lots of tables. Only can get there by boat. I would recommend to visit the museum before you visit the island.

Note: Parking can be difficult, make sure you don't park in any space with a number to avoid being towed.

Interesting collections of local history and the place to buy tickets to the island. There is a sizable collection of arrowheads. Perhaps the most interesting to a non-local would be the Aaron Burr connection. Burr planned his conspiracies for treason on the nearby island. The museum has a copy of a copy of his death mask and two reproduction pistols from his Hamilton duel. Otherwise most items represent life in Parkersburg throughout time. There's few places to see in Parkersburg so something like this is necessary to fill a weekend.

I been to the Blennerhassett island before to tour it but never the museum until now. Its really amazing to see everything.

What a beautiful historic hotel...very nice...enjoyed our stay!!!
