This is such an interesting little museum dedicated to history of West Virginia's history in drilling oil wells. There is also a great history of gas stations and products distilled from oil. My family opened a gas station in the depression. We donated photos to the museum. This is a more casual feeling museum. I really like it here.

Great for doing raids

Nice place to visit. You can learn all the information about the town ( Parkersburg),not just the oil industry itself. Leo, the Administrator of the museum, is nice. He's a local man, sharing his own experience of the town. The sad thing is that no much people come to visit this great museum
